Dr. Carlo Gavino is quadruple-board certified in anatomic and clinical pathology, dermatopathology, and dermatology. Dr. Gavino brings his outstanding experience to Skin Win Dermatology to treat patients of all ages with a variety of dermatology needs. He was born and raised in the Philippines and earned a medical degree from the University of the Philippines College of Medicine, graduating valedictorian with magna cum laude honors. Dr. Gavino immigrated to the U.S. after medical school and completed an internship in internal medicine at the Cleveland Clinic in Ohio, followed by a post-doctoral research fellowship in immnuno-dermatology at the University of Texas Southwestern at Dallas.
In addition, Dr. Gavino finished residencies in anatomic and clinical pathology at the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine in Oklahoma City and UT Southwestern Medical Center, respectively, and in dermatology at UT Austin Dell Medical School. He is also fellowship trained in dermatopathology from the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
When not treating patients, Dr. Gavino enjoys spending time with family.
